We see from this that having joy in the Lord is something we can choose. Faith in the Lord is a muscular thing, and in this new life God has given us in Christ, he means us to be fully engaged. The key to our breakthrough is to believe in all the Lord God has for us, which is abundantly clear by the sacrifice that all three Persons of the Trinity had to make to accomplish our salvation. We will discuss the things we are able to do when we are conscious on a day-to-day basis of that love. Meet our Speaker Andree Seu Peterson Andree is a member of New Life Glenside and resides in Glenside. She became a Christian as a thoughtful young adult with many questions through Francis Schaeffer's L'Abri ministry in Switzerland in the early 70s. There was a great movement of God in those years, and many people all over the country came to know the Lord. She ended up at Westminster Seminary for 2 years where she graduated with a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies. That's also how she ended up living in the Philadelphia area. She married a fellow seminarian and they had four children. Her husband died in 1999, and she remarried fourteen years later. Since 1998 she writes a column for a North Carolina-based Christian magazine called World, and also is a published author.
