Music Ministry

The Music Ministry offers opportunities for training in music and musical leadership in worship. New members are always welcome! Beth Jenkins, Director of Music, is the primary contact for all music ministries. Contact Beth by clicking here or emailing,

  • Worship Choir

    The Worship Choir sings a variety of traditional and contemporary anthems and rehearses from October to May on Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 8:45PM in the sanctuary. 

  • Children's Choir

    The Children's Choir is directed by Linda Craymer and is open to children in grades 1-5. This choir generally sings in December and again in the Spring. It rehearses as part of the Junior Church time during the 10 AM worship service for 6-8 weeks prior to singing.

  • Bells of Praise (BOP) 

    The Handbell Choir plays in worship bi-monthly and in special services. Comprised of both adult and youth members, it rehearses Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:15PM, September-June. 

  • Ring Song Chime Choir

    Plays in worship 4-6 Sundays throughout the year and for special services. Students in 3rd-8th grades and interested adults are welcome to join. The choir rehearses Thursday afternoons from 4:30-5:30pm in the Music Ministry Office under the sanctuary from mid-September through May.

  • Kidz Connect Chime Choir

    Meets from 4:30-5pm the third Thursday of each month in the Music Ministry Office below the sanctuary preceding the Kidz Connect program held in the youth wing from 5:00-6:00pm.  The autumn dates are 9/21, 10/19, 11/16 and 12/14 (one week early due to Christmas). Students in grades 1-5 are welcome to join.

  • worship band

    The Worship Band is directed by Beth Jenkins and is open to all musicians. If you are proficient with an instrument (guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, etc.) and are interested in playing for church services, please contact Beth. Rehearsals are Sunday mornings 8:00am to 8:45am in the sanctuary.

  • Guest Musicians

    OEPC is blessed to have several musicians who are not church members but are happy to share their musical talents during worship services throughout the year.
