Join us on a summer reading adventure and discussion of John Bunyan’s classic allegorical tale, Pilgrim’s Progress. We will travel alongside Christian as he flees the City of Destruction carrying an unbearable burden, to his triumphant arrival into the Celestial City. Christian is “Everyman” and his story is each of ours as we navigate the struggles, challenges and pitfalls of this world. Like Christian, we each carry a burden of sin that only Christ Jesus can remove. Our pilgrimage will begin Wednesday evening, July 28, and continue August 4, 11 and 18 from 7-8:30PM meeting in Fellowship Hall. Kindly email sandraallen@comcast.net if you plan to attend.
